Earlier this week, Russells Point Police arrested two men earlier this week after a traffic stop on U.S. Route 33 near Clermont Avenue.
Police stopped a vehicle just before 6:30 PM after noticing the license plate was hard to see, and a plate light was out.
The driver was identified as Anthony Finley,50, of Peebles, Ohio.
A passenger, William New, 56, of Brainbridge, Ohio, was also in the vehicle.
Finley agreed to let officers search the car.
During the search, police found a black plastic container with a white crystal-like substance, a glass smoking pipe, and a cut straw.
Neither man claimed the items.
The substance later tested positive for methamphetamine.
Both Finley and New were arrested and taken to the Logan County Jail on drug possession and drug paraphernalia charges.
