Two men were arrested Thursday afternoon after being caught trespassing in Bellefontaine.

Around 4:30 PM, police officers saw a black Chevy pickup truck acting suspiciously.

They watched as the truck quickly turned onto Dakota Road and then pulled into a driveway on Iroquois Road.

The officers knew the truck didn’t belong there.

The two men, later identified as Roger Huffman, 60, and Seth Wagner, 32, both of Rushsylvania, got out of the truck and walked to the back of the property.

When the officers saw the men running between houses toward Irving Avenue, they chased them on foot.

Huffman was caught after running through a wooded area.

Wagner kept running but was eventually caught by a Logan County Sheriff’s deputy.

Further investigation showed that Huffman had an active warrant for his arrest.

Both men were charged with trespassing and obstructing official business and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
