Saturday evening, Washington Township officers were on patrol on US Route 33 near Lincoln Boulevard when they stopped a vehicle driven by Dago Lenin Isaguirre-Quinonez, 36, of Honduras, for a turn signal and equipment violation.
Michael Jose Hernandez-Fuentes, 33, of Nicaragua, was a passenger in the vehicle.
When officers spoke with Dago, he provided a Honduran passport that had not been stamped for entry into the United States.
Michael also gave officers a paper copy of his passport that had not been stamped for entry into the United States.
Neither man spoke English, which made communication difficult.
Officers contacted Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and were advised that both men were subject to immediate removal.
Dago and Michael were taken into custody, transported to the Logan County Jail, and lodged on ICE detainers.
