Late Tuesday evening, Washington Township Police were on patrol on US Route 33 near State Route 708 when they stopped a vehicle.
Two passengers inside the vehicle, Christian Francis, 22, of Bellefontaine, and Stephanie Beair, 41, of Bellefontaine, showed several signs of drug use.
The driver consented to a search of the vehicle.
Officers found methamphetamine in Beair’s purse.
Francis consented to a search of his person and officers found methamphetamine in his pocket.
Both were taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail where they were charged with possession of drugs.
