Emergency crews responded Monday afternoon after two people fell through the roof of a barn in Champaign County, southwest of Mechanicsburg.
According to the Mechanicsburg Fire Department, the two individuals were working on the barn roof when they fell approximately 20 feet onto the concrete surface below. First responders were called to the 4700 block of State Route 4 around 12:08 p.m.
One patient was transported by MedFlight to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, while the second was taken by Mechanicsburg EMS to Springfield Regional Medical Center.
Both individuals suffered injuries considered non-life-threatening.
The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office and Pleasant Township Fire Department also responded and assisted at the scene.
