Late Sunday night, Logan County deputies responded to two separate crashes that happened around the same time.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Cole Wilt, 35, of Belle Center, was riding a 2021 Honda motorcycle on State Route 235 just after 11:00 PM when he lost control and went off the right side of the road.
Wilt was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered suspected serious injuries.
BMRT EMS transported him to Lima Memorial Hospital.
Deputies say he was not wearing a helmet.
Just before that crash, deputies were called to State Route 47 for an accident.
Investigators say Theodore Fuller, 71, of Marion, failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the left side of the roadway.
His 2002 Ford F-150 struck a mailbox, a tree, and a fence before coming to a stop.
Fuller was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Tri-Valley EMS with suspected minor injuries.
He was cited for failure to control.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
