Update:
Monday morning, just before 11:30 a.m., a two-vehicle crash was reported on North Main Street in Bellefontaine.
According to police, Jarron Carpenter, 17, of West Mansfield, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu southbound on North Main when he struck the rear of a 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML driven by Angela Ferguson, 57, of Columbus.
While no injuries were initially reported, Carpenter and Ferguson’s passenger, Carol Corona, 78, of Columbus, were later transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by the Bellefontaine Fire Department with possible injuries.
Carpenter was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

A two-vehicle accident temporarily halted traffic near the intersection of North Main Street and Reynolds Avenue on Monday morning around 11:30.
No injuries were reported, and Bellefontaine Police say more details will be released as they become available.
The accident caused a brief delay for southbound traffic in the area.
