A two-vehicle accident on County Road 130 near Huntsville on Wednesday afternoon led to minor injuries for both drivers involved.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred when James Starzalka, 58, of West Liberty, was stopped in the roadway, preparing to make a left-hand turn.
His vehicle was rear-ended by Emma Flora, 18, of Springfield.
The collision caused Starzalka’s vehicle to veer off the right side of the road, where it struck a utility pole.
In the aftermath, Flora’s vehicle skidded off the left side of the road and ended up in a ditch.
Both drivers were promptly transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Huntsville EMS for the treatment of minor injuries.
