Two-vehicle crash at popular intersection sends one to hospital

A two-vehicle crash happened shortly before noon Wednesday at the intersection of County Road 57 and U.S. Route 68.

According to troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Brian Wall, 52, of Bellefontaine, was driving a silver Toyota Tacoma on County Road 57 when he failed to yield at the stop sign.

His vehicle struck a red Chrysler Town and Country operated by 29-year-old Morgan Douglas of Kenton, who was traveling north on U.S. Route 68.

Douglas was transported by Huntsville EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital with minor injuries.

Wall was cited for failure to yield.
