UPDATE:
A 2017 black Toyota Camry driven by Widens Eloz, 33, of Springfield was heading northwest on State Route 117 when it traveled across the center line and into the path of a 2020 Chevy Silverado, driven by 22-year-old Lance Sawyers of Heath.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries in the crash. Eloz was taken by the Bellefontaine Fire Department to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment. Sawyers was taken to Lima Memorial by Indian Lake EMS.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The crash left a small portion of State Route 117 closed in Huntsville for nearly two hours.
A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 117 and State Route 274 this morning sent at least one person to the hospital and closed the intersection to traffic.
The two vehicles, a pick-up and a sedan, hit head-on at the intersection, leaving debris scattered across the roadway.
No names or cause of the accident have been released at this time. Traffic is being diverted around Huntsville while Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies investigate.
