A traffic accident at the intersection of US 33 and Lincoln Boulevard resulted in serious injuries for two men on a motorcycle on Saturday.
Seth Headings, 39, of Russells Point, reportedly pulled his Jeep Liberty into the path of a motorcycle operated by Timothy Jacks, 48, of Bellefontaine.
Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene. Indian Lake EMS transported Jacks to the Mary Rutan Hospital helipad and subsequently airlifted to Grant Medical Center for further treatment. His current condition remains unknown.
Headings has been cited for failure to yield. Local authorities are reminding drivers to exercise caution at intersections to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Logan County Sheriff Deputies responded to an injury crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle at the intersection of US 33 and Lincoln Boulevard in Russells Point on Saturday.
Indian Lake EMS promptly attended to the motorcyclist, who transported them to the Mary Rutan Hospital helipad. From there, they were airlifted to Grant Medical Center for further treatment. As of now, the condition of the motorcyclist has not been disclosed.
Huntsville EMS transported a second victim to Mary Rutan Hospital.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident; more details are expected to be released soon.
