Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post responded just before 8:30 p.m. on March 9 to a possible injury crash at the intersection of State Route 296 and Clark Road north of Urbana.

According to the preliminary investigation, an 18-year-old Urbana man, Jacob Lauck, was driving a 2009 Cadillac CTS south on Clark Road. A 2020 Ford F-150 driven by 53-year-old Kraig Hissong of Urbana was traveling west on State Route 296.

Kraig Hissong was not injured. However, his two passengers — Robyn Hissong, 50, of Urbana, and Kamden Hissong, 18, of Urbana — were transported by ground ambulance to Mercy Health – Urbana Hospital for possible injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post.
