Tuesday evening, just after 6:00 p.m., Logan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Township Road 216 and County Road 18, just outside Bellefontaine.
According to the report, a 2020 Saturn Vue driven by 20-year-old Detrie Lager of Canton was traveling eastbound on Township Road 216 when she failed to yield to a 2024 Honda CR-V driven by 46-year-old Teralyn Kunze of Bellefontaine, who was heading northbound on County Road 18. The CR-V struck Lager’s vehicle.
Bellefontaine EMS transported Lager to Mary Rutan Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Mac-O-Chee EMS also responded to check on other occupants from both vehicles.
Both cars sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
Lager was cited for failure to yield.
No further injuries were reported.
