According to a crash report from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a two-vehicle crash Saturday just after noon sent a West Liberty man and a child to the hospital.

A 2004 Toyota Camry driven by Wesley Ray, 28, of Cincinnati, was traveling west on County Road 5 and pulled from the intersection at County Road 1 into the path of a 2024 Ford F-250 driven by Ryan Latham, 36, of West Liberty.

Both vehicles left the east side of the roadway and came to a stop.

Latham and his 7-year-old passenger were transported by Mac-O-Chee EMS to Urbana Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

Ray was cited for a stop sign violation.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
