A two-vehicle crash happened Friday afternoon just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 540 and U.S. Route 33, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
A 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by 17-year-old Briella Mackesy of Woodstock, was headed west on State Route 540 and attempted to turn west onto US 33.
Mackesy failed to yield the right of way to a 2023 Honda Pilot, driven by 44-year-old Heidi Michael of Bellefontaine, who was traveling east and turning west onto US 33 with a green turn arrow.
The Cruze struck the Pilot, which resulted in Mackesy’s vehicle going off the roadway and into a ditch.
No injuries were reported.
Mackesy was cited for failure to yield.
The Honda Pilot was towed from the scene.
