A two-vehicle crash Monday evening resulted in serious injuries and a traffic citation, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. near the junction of Township Road 216 and Township Road 200.

Deputies say Gordon West, 72, of Belle Center, was driving a 2024 Toyota RAV4 when he pulled from Township Road 216 into the path of a 2009 Buick Lucerne traveling on County Road 18.

The Buick was driven by Susan King, 71, of DeGraff.

West was not reported injured and was cited at the scene for a stop sign violation.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.
