A Mechanicsburg woman was transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Route 33 and Lincoln Boulevard in Russells Point.
According to the Russells Point Police Department, officers were called just after 3:00 p.m. for a reported injury crash.
Police reports say a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by 31-year-old Amber Wodarski of Toledo, entered the intersection and was struck by a 2020 Honda CR-V driven by 70-year-old Cathy Azbell of Mechanicsburg.
Wodarski told officers she did not see Azbell’s vehicle approaching the intersection before proceeding through it.
Police cited Wodarski for a traffic control device violation involving a stop sign.
Azbell was transported by Indian Lake EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
