Tuesday morning, just before 8:00 a.m., Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of Township Road 138 and County Road 121.
According to reports, a 2006 Nissan Altima driven by 30-year-old Samual Williams of Ridgeway was southbound on Township Road 138 when a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 50-year-old Nathan Comer of Ridgeway, failed to stop at the stop sign and struck the Nissan.
The impact caused Williams to drive into a ditch on the left side of the road, while Comer ended up in a nearby field.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Williams was issued a citation for a stop sign violation.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.
