Two women are facing charges after a drug investigation in Urbana led deputies to a home and storage unit filled with suspected drugs, according to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.

Recently, deputies and Urbana Police searched a home on Bloomfield Avenue.

Inside, they found several baggies of what appeared to be methamphetamine, along with other powders and items commonly used for drug sales.

Investigators later learned that one suspect, Sarah Shackle, had also been using a Springfield storage unit to keep drugs before selling them in Champaign County.

When officers searched the unit, they found more suspected meth, additional powders, and more than 200 prescription pills.

Shackle was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

She was taken to the Tri-County Jail.

The Sheriff’s Office says Shackle wasn’t working alone.

Her partner, Destiny Collins, wasn’t at the house during the first search but was later found there.

Deputies say Collins had a glass pipe and more suspected drugs.

Officials say additional charges are expected once the case is presented to the Champaign County Grand Jury.
