United Way is hosting a blood drive at Union Station, Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, to meet the Community Blood Center’s report of a critical need for blood in Logan County. Blood donations occur on the Bloodmobile and take approximately one hour. Snacks and juice will be provided after.

The schedule for blood donations is almost full. Donors will receive a “Sunshine & Saving Lives” beach towel, and be entered into a “Pick a Prize” drawing, where they have the chance to win a YETI Roadie 60 cooler, an Ascend kayak, or a Blackstone grill.

The next Community Blood Center blood drive will take place Friday, August 25th, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, at Union Station (613 Hamilton Street in Bellefontaine). Online sign-ups on the Donortime app, Donortime.com, or by phone, (937) 461-3220, are encouraged, but walk-ins are also accepted.

Sign-ups open July 3rd, and all donors will receive a “Sunshine & Saving Lives” t-shirt when they donate on August 25th.
