Urbana City Council to hold Public Hearing to discuss next year’s tax budget

The Urbana City Council will hold a public hearing at 6 pm on Tuesday to consider adopting the tax budget of the City of Urbana, Ohio, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2026.

Following the Public Hearing, the council will discuss Ordinance 4626-25, which is an ordinance expressing the City of Urbana’s intent to negotiate jointly with other cities in the region on a one-price schedule under which electric light services are furnished to the residents of the city for street lighting.

The meetings are in the Training Room of the City Municipal Building in Urbana and are open to the public.
