An Urbana couple was arrested Friday night after a fight outside a business on East Main Street in Russells Point.

According to the Russells Point Police Department, officers were called to the 100 block of East Main Street just before 11:30 PM for a report of a fight.

When they got to the scene, witnesses pointed out a black Chevy pickup truck trying to leave the area.

Police stopped the truck and spoke with the driver, 41-year-old Bradley Cohn.

Officers said they smelled the odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath and had him perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.

Mr. Cohn was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OVI).

During a search of the truck, officers found a 9mm handgun on the driver’s side floorboard.

Cohn was also charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

After dealing with Mr. Cohn, officers spoke with Brandy Cohn, who told police she had been drinking and had called her husband for a ride.

When he arrived, they got into an argument that turned physical, according to police.

Witnesses said they saw her pushing and shoving him in the parking lot, and at one point nearly knocking him over.

Mrs. Cohn was arrested for domestic violence.

The couple was then transported to the Logan County Jail.
