At approximately 3:30 on Friday, the Urbana Fire Division responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of East Court Street.
When crews arrived, smoke was flowing from the building’s windows.
Crews determined through primary and secondary searches that all occupants were out of the structure and quickly began working on the fire.
The fire was reported under control 45 minutes later.
During the fire, UFD received a call for service for an EMS incident in the city, which Macochee EMS covered.
Crews from the Urbana Fire Division, West Liberty Fire Department, and the Johnson-St. Paris Fire Department all assisted in the call.
There were no reported injuries due to the fire; a damage assessment has not yet been determined, and the cause is still under investigation.
