The Urbana Lions Club held its weekly luncheon on Wednesday, featuring a presentation from the Urbana High School DECA Club.

DECA is a national organization that prepares students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through competitive events, conferences, and community service activities.

During the luncheon, DECA members shared details about their upcoming Powder Puff Game, an event designed to engage school spirit and foster community involvement.

The game aims to raise funds for future DECA activities and provide a fun, entertaining experience for students and families.

DECA students who presented to the Lions Club include Preston Wisma, Lauren Schelpman, and Alex Dixon. Their advisor is Thomas Russell.

Club members expressed their enthusiasm for supporting the DECA Club’s initiatives and encouraged attendance at the Powder Puff Game.

The Lions Club continues to foster connections within the community, providing a platform for local youth organizations to share their endeavors.
