Now that Election Day has passed, the City of Urbana is reminding residents and political campaigns to take down their election signs.
All political signs must be removed by Monday, November 9, giving candidates and campaign supporters five days after the November 3 election to clear signs from yards and other locations.
The reminder applies to signs promoting political candidates, ballot issues, and other election-related matters.
The city is asking residents to make sure all political signs are removed by the deadline and thanking the community for its cooperation.
