A community favorite event is returning to downtown Urbana, giving residents a chance to enjoy local flavors while supporting a meaningful cause.

For a $20 donation, participants can take part in the Urbana Soup Crawl, a fundraiser benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank CCL and its mission to combat food insecurity across Clark, Champaign, and Logan counties.

Participants will also take home a handmade ceramic bowl created by student artists.

Aliyah Baker, Development Specialist from Second Harvest Food Bank, talks about the event:

The event will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., beginning at The Farmer’s Daughter, where participants can pick up their bowl and receive their ticket for the crawl.

From there, attendees will visit multiple locations throughout downtown Urbana to sample soups.

Participating stops include Cafe Paradiso, Abuela’s Kitchen, In Good Taste Market, Urbana Brewing Company, Mercy Health Urbana, and The WhereHouse.
