Veterans Day celebrations – Thank you for your service!

Veterans Day is tomorrow, but there are a lot of celebrations happening today.

Riverside Local Schools will host a Veteran’s Day Breakfast and Assembly. Breakfast will be served for all community Veterans beginning at 8 o’clock this morning, followed by an assembly at 9. All Veterans and their families are welcome to attend. You are asked to check in at the office upon arrival.

Indian Lake High School Key Club and FCCLA members will team up to serve lunch, present a short program, and then invite the special guests and their families back into the auxiliary gym for photos and fellowship with the students and staff. The Veterans Day Celebration at ILHS is at noon.

You are asked to RSVP by calling the high school office at 937-686-8851. Be sure to tell them your name and branch/rank in the military.

The Champaign Family YMCA’s Daycare students, teachers, and staff are looking forward to their Veterans Day Brunch. This event is an open invitation to local veterans – as well as to the families of the veterans who have passed away.

Tomorrow, Benjamin Logan High School’s Student Government will hold its Veteran’s Day breakfast and honoring ceremony. The breakfast is at 8 with the ceremony to follow at 8:45. You are asked to RSVP by calling the school at (937) 592-1666.
