Veterans group seeks community support for memorial

A group of local veterans has come together with a mission to honor all those who have served in the military by raising funds for a new memorial to be placed in Bellefontaine.

The group is aiming to raise $45,000 to create a lasting tribute to veterans, and they are asking for the community’s support to make this vision a reality.

The memorial will serve as a place for reflection, respect, and remembrance for those who have given so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy.

Organizers say this will be an important addition to the community, offering a space where veterans and their families can come together to honor the service and sacrifices made by their loved ones.

Leaders, Fred Brackney and David & Stephanie Lamb joined News Director April King on Listen Up! Sunday morning:

The group has launched a fundraising campaign, and they are seeking donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations in the area.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help bring this memorial to life.

You can help by making donations via their Venmo account or by adding money to their account at Richwood Bank.
