Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon on U.S. 68, just outside Bellefontaine.
Near the intersection of Township Road 190, Mac-o-chee and Bellefontaine EMS were called to the scene of the injury crash.
Levi Campbell, 34, of West Liberty, was southbound on U.S. 68 when he went off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and crossed over into oncoming traffic.
Sean Core, 39, of West Liberty, then stuck the passenger side of Campbell’s vehicle.
Campbell then hit a tree on the east side of the roadway.
He was transported to Miami Valley Hospital for suspected serious injuries.
Core and his passenger were not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
