The Logan County Visitors Bureau (LCVB) is excited to announce its 2026 Tourism Development Grant Program designed to support projects that enhance the visitor experience, strengthen communities, and further position Logan County as a premier destination in Ohio.

The new program expands upon the Bureau’s previous grant offerings by supporting a wider range of tourism-focused initiatives, including new festival and event development, attraction enhancements, public art and murals, beautification projects, wayfinding signage, visitor amenities, and other projects that positively impact tourism.

The Tourism Development Grant Program will provide matching grants of up to $10,000, requiring applicants to provide a dollar-for-dollar match through secured funds, sponsorships, fundraising efforts, or other eligible sources.

“We know tourism is about much more than marketing,” said Jamison Thornton, Director of the Logan County Visitors Bureau. “Visitors are seeking authentic experiences, vibrant communities, unique attractions, and memorable places. This grant program allows us to invest in projects that make Logan County more attractive to visitors while also improving quality of life for residents.”

The program is open to nonprofits, municipalities, businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations proposing projects that demonstrate a measurable tourism impact.

Eligible projects may include:

  • New festivals and tourism experiences
  • Attraction development and enhancement
  • Murals and public art installations
  • Beautification and placemaking projects
  • Visitor wayfinding and interpretive signage
  • Tourism-focused infrastructure and amenities
  • Grant applications will be evaluated based on tourism impact, visitor experience enhancement, community benefit, project readiness, and long-term sustainability.

The 2026 application window will be open September 1 through September 30.
