Friday, Citizens Federal Savings and Loan announced that Ben Vollrath has joined its Board of Directors.

Vollrath holds degrees in business economics and communications, as well as an MBA from Capital University.

He brings experience in banking and economic development, and currently serves as President of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce.

He is also a board member for the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange, Clark State College, Mary Rutan Health, and the Logan-Union-Champaign Regional Planning Commission.

Reflecting on his new role, Vollrath said,

“I love that I will be part of a bank that is all about finding ways to improve the community. Citizens has always been quick to support, sponsor, spotlight, and be involved with the good in our community.”

Citizens Federal noted that Vollrath’s expertise in strategic planning, commitment to service, and understanding of the community’s needs made him an ideal choice to help strengthen the organization for the future.

“Together, we will continue Citizens Federal’s tradition of meeting our community’s financial needs in meaningful ways,” the bank said.
