Voter registration deadline approaching

The deadline to register to vote in the May 6th Primary/Special Election is fast approaching.

Individuals must be registered by April 7th, to participate in the upcoming election.

This deadline also applies to anyone who has recently moved and has not updated their address with the Board of Elections.

Voter registration forms can be completed at several locations throughout Logan County, including the Logan County Board of Elections at 225 South Main Street in Bellefontaine.

The office is open regular business hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and will have extended hours on April 7th from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM to accommodate last-minute registrations.

In addition to in-person registration, voters can also register online HERE.

Other authorized locations for registration include the Knowlton District Library and Logan County District Libraries, as well as public agencies like the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, Department of Job and Family Services, Logan County Women, Infants & Children Clinic, Logan & Champaign Counties Mental Health, Drug, and Alcohol Services, Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Logan County Treasurer’s Office, and the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office.

To vote in the May 6, 2025 election, individuals must be U.S. citizens, residents of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election, and registered to vote by April 7th.

Additionally, voters must be at least 18 years old by May 6th, to participate in the 1st Ward Republican Primary.
