A Bellefontaine man is in custody following an investigation into allegations of unlawful sexual conduct involving a minor.
On May 20th, detectives from the Bellefontaine Police Department were contacted by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office regarding a case they had begun investigating.
As the investigation progressed, it was determined that the incidents took place within the Bellefontaine city limits.
Bellefontaine detectives launched a follow-up investigation, conducting multiple interviews and serving several search warrants over the course of several days.
On May 30th, officers arrested Jordan Walker, 35, of Bellefontaine.
He has been formally charged with Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor and is being held at the Logan County Jail.
Police have not released further details at this time, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.
