Miranda Warren has formally announced her candidacy for Logan County Common Pleas Court – Family Court Judge, with the term set to begin in February 2027.

A longtime local attorney with nearly 20 years of legal experience and deep ties to the community, Warren brings an extensive background in Family Law, Probate, Juvenile, and Domestic Relations.

She says those areas of practice have prepared her to handle the complex and often emotional cases that come before Family Court.

“This is a longtime dream of mine,” Warren said. “I want to serve the community using the knowledge and skills I’ve developed throughout my legal career.”

Warren says her values were shaped early in life by strong family influences.

“I was raised by a Purple Heart recipient and Vietnam War veteran father who overcame poverty through the education he earned under the GI Bill, a mother who devoted her career to education, and a bonus mother who inspired my decision to pursue a career in law,” Warren said. “From them, I learned the importance of integrity, personal responsibility, and steady perseverance.”

Warren completed her primary and secondary education at Columbus School for Girls.

She earned her undergraduate degree in American History from The Ohio State University and her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School.

For nearly two decades, she has practiced law in Logan County and surrounding counties, representing hundreds of individuals and families in Domestic Relations, Probate, and Juvenile matters.

She says her legal career has been grounded in service to the community and a deep respect for the role courts play in people’s lives.

Warren currently serves as managing partner of Warren & Hall, Ltd., where she oversees daily operations and works closely with staff and associate attorneys to ensure cases are handled with professionalism, diligence, and care.

She has been married to her husband, Andrew Warren, for 19 years.

He has worked for Procter & Gamble in Lima for 22 years and holds an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in business and agricultural science.

Together, they are raising two daughters and remain active in the Logan County community, supporting local activities, sports, and events.

Outside of her legal practice, Warren says she values time with family and friends and regularly participates in community service.

If elected, Warren says her goal is to make Family Court more friendly, accommodating, and efficient for families who rely on the court system.

“Family court cases often involve difficult and personal circumstances,” Warren said. “It’s essential they are handled efficiently, impartially, and with an understanding of the real-world impact court decisions have on Logan County families. I have sat across the table from families and children in need, desperate for court intervention, and have witnessed and shared in their struggles when fighting for their rights, and the opportunity to be truly heard by the court system.”

Warren says she will approach the bench with fairness, patience, and respect for the rule of law.
