A Russells Point woman was arrested late Tuesday night after a traffic stop, according to the Washington Township Police Department.

Officers on patrol stopped Wendy Marshall, 45, just after 10:30 PM on State Route 366 near Allen Drive for going 47 miles per hour in the 35-mile-per-hour zone.

As officers spoke with Marshall, they noticed several signs of impairment.

She admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages before driving and agreed to perform field sobriety tests.

After the tests, Marshall was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI).

Marshall was taken to the Logan County Jail, where she submitted to a breath test of .155, nearly twice the legal limit.

She was charged with two counts of OVI and speeding and then lodged in the Logan County Jail.
