The Washington Township Police Department made three arrests over the weekend involving traffic stops.
Sunday afternoon they pulled over Joseph Collins, 40, or Lakeview, for driving with a suspended license.
Officers noticed signs of drug use. Collins consented to a search of his vehicle.
Police found oxycodone. Collins did not have a prescription for the drug.
He was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Collins was charged with possession of a schedule II drug and driving under suspension.
Saturday night, just before midnight, Joshua Workman of Wapak was pulled over for a marked lanes violation.
Workman told police he had marijuana in his car. A search of Workman found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Marijuana was found inside his vehicle.
He was taken to the Logan County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday night Gabrielle Murphy was pulled over for going 80 mph in a 50 mph zone.
Gabrielle and her passenger, Grace Typpi, both denied having anything illegal inside the vehicle.
Police smelled an odor of marijuana coming from inside the car.
Murphy later admitted to having two loaded firearms inside the vehicle.
Police found a loaded handgun under the passenger seat and another loaded handgun under the driver’s seat.
Murphy and Typpi were arrested and taken to the Logan County Jail.
They were charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and possession of marijuana.
