Weekly Construction Update for Logan County

ODOT District 7 has released its latest construction update for Logan County, with several ongoing paving projects and upcoming road closures expected to impact drivers in the area.

Traffic in all work zones will be maintained by flagging operations.

The following routes are affected:

  • State Route 235 between State Route 720 and the Hardin County line through July
  • State Route 274 between the Rushsylvania corporation limits and State Route 273 through July
  • State Route 366 between State Route 235 and U.S. 33 through July
  • State Route 117 between the Hardin County line and State Route 274 through August
  • State Route 245 between the Mad River east of West Liberty and the Champaign County line through August
  • State Route 287 between State Route 245 and U.S. 33 through August
  • State Route 638 between U.S. 68 and Township Road 51 through August

Most lane restrictions will be in place weekdays from 7 a.m. to either 5 p.m. or 9 p.m., depending on the project.

In addition, U.S. 33 near the State Route 55 bridge will continue to see intermittent single-lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews replace bridge joints overhead.

Upcoming Impacts

State Route 559 between North Street and County Road 44 is scheduled to close June 1 through June 12 for a culvert replacement project.

The posted detour will follow eastbound State Route 245 to State Route 287 to State Route 559.
