Benjamin Logan will present The Wizard of Oz this weekend in the high school auditorium.
The classic story hits the stage for three performances on Friday, March 17th at 7:00 and Saturday, March 18th at 2:00 and 7:00. The cast will also perform parts of the musical in front of elementary and middle school students on Friday during the school day.
Students have been working for about three months on the production.
The cast is highlighted by junior Hannah Phillips who will put on the ruby slippers and play Dorothy. Kate Hahn will torment Dorothy and her friends as the Wicked Witch. Luke Adams will be the Tinman, Tyler Barnes is the Scarecrow, and Holden Zehner will be the Cowardly Lion.
Other members include Lorali Klopfenstein as Aunt Em, Wyatt LeVan as Uncle Henry, Zander Thompson as the Wizard of Oz, and Greyson Wagoner as Glinda.
The director is Mr. Dove with Mrs. Godsey as the musical choreographer.
