West Liberty-Salem High School has announced that its 2026 musical production will be the classic fairy tale, Cinderella.
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, March 21, with two shows at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The beloved story follows Cinderella, a kind and hopeful young woman mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters after the loss of her father.
When the royal family announces a grand ball to find a bride for Prince Topher, Cinderella dreams of attending but is forbidden by her stepfamily.
With the help of her Fairy Godmother, she magically transforms for an unforgettable evening at the palace, capturing the Prince’s heart but leaving behind only a glass slipper at midnight.
West Liberty-Salem officials say the production emphasizes timeless themes, including kindness, courage, leadership, and believing in oneself.
Students have spent months rehearsing music, dance, and costumes to bring the story to life, ensuring a performance full of heart and energy.
Several cast members joined Ken Keller on the Morning Show on Thursday:
Emery Longaberger (Cinderella), Brock Burgel(Prince), Brady Kauffman (Sebastian), Alexa Cheetham (Fairy Godmother/Marie), and Geneva Estep(Stepdaughter/Gabrielle) were in the studio.
