West Liberty-Salem High School honors Class of 2025

West Liberty-Salem High School hosted its annual Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, May 7, celebrating the outstanding achievements, service, and future plans of the Class of 2025.

The two-hour event recognized excellence in academics, leadership, military commitment, and athletics, and marked a record-breaking year in scholarships awarded.

From heartfelt speeches to thunderous applause, the evening was filled with gratitude, pride, and anticipation for the next chapter in the lives of 97 seniors who have made a lasting impact on their school and community.

Post-Graduation Plans for the Class of 2025

  • 47% will attend a four-year college or university
  • 14% will attend a two-year college or trade school
  • 35% will enter the workforce, with some starting their own businesses
  • 4% have enlisted in the military

A Record-Breaking Year in Scholarships

In an extraordinary accomplishment, the Class of 2025 earned over $3.6 million in scholarships, nearly doubling last year’s total.

More than $200,000 in local and awarded scholarships were presented during the ceremony, showcasing both student dedication and the strong support of community organizations.

College Credit Plus (CCP) Highlights

Academic excellence was further emphasized through the College Credit Plus program:

  • 52 of 97 seniors earned free college credit
  • A total of 1,381 semester credit hours were completed
  • An estimated $629,000 in college tuition was saved
  • Isaiah Reminder earned the most with 50 credit hours

Other top CCP earners included Aaron Campbell, Max Rudolph, Isabella Hardwick, Londyn Loveless, and Craig Stanford.
