West Liberty-Salem Schools recognized their October Seniors of the Month, Craig Stanford and Isabella Hardwick.
Craig Stanford is active in West Liberty-Salem football, indoor and outdoor track, and National Honor Society, as well as various other clubs and organizations, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
He credits his parents for his accomplishments, saying they “have always been there for me. They’ve helped me through high school, life, and everything in between. Their constant support has helped me become who I am today. They have modeled amazing people for me to look up to, and I am so fortunate to have them in my life.”
Craig looks forward to attending the University of Michigan or the University of Purdue for Aeronautical Engineering following his high school career.
Isabella Hardwick is on the school soccer and track & field teams, a Senior Class Officer, National Honor Society Vice President, and the 2024 West Liberty-Salem Homecoming Queen.
Isabella credits her mother for all she’s experienced in life so far, “because she taught me how to be patient, kind, and tenacious. Her relationship with God is beautiful and I hope to be as close to God as she is. She is incredibly smart, strong, and humble. If I grow to be half the woman that she is, I will be doing pretty all right.”
Isabella plans to attend college to study Medical Laboratory Science.
