The West Liberty Business Association is excited to announce the return of its annual Christmas Parade, set for Friday, November 29, 2024, at 6:30 PM.

This year’s theme, “Light Up the Village,” encourages participants to showcase their creativity and holiday spirit.

The parade will begin at the Lions Club Park and make its way to the Firehouse, where the community will welcome Santa Claus at the gazebo.

Participants are invited to enter a variety of floats, vehicles, tractors, marching units, and even animals, with an emphasis on big, unique, and beautiful entries.

While illuminated displays are encouraged, they are not mandatory.

The parade lineup will start at 5:45 PM, and each entry will have a moment to shine, stopping downtown for 30 seconds for a special announcement.

The local band will lead the parade, performing a festive song for the village before continuing down the route.

A panel of judges will award prizes for the best floats, with the top three entries receiving monetary awards and bragging rights for a year.

Additionally, downtown shops will stay open late, offering residents the chance to kick off their holiday shopping.

Participants must register by November 25, 2024.

Entries can be submitted through an online form HERE or by emailing [email protected].

Alternatively, entries can be mailed to WLBA, P.O. Box 684, West Liberty, OH 43357, or dropped off at Civista Bank in West Liberty.
