Early Sunday morning, just after 1:30 AM, Bellefontaine Police stopped a black Chevrolet SUV on South Main Street after noticing the vehicle repeatedly crossing over lane lines.
The vehicle, driven by 32-year-old Kayla Hodge of West Liberty, also veered over the sidewalk while pulling into a service center parking lot.
During the stop, officers noted Hodge displayed several signs of intoxication.
She admitted to drinking several alcoholic beverages earlier in the evening.
Hodge failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI).
She was transported to the police department, given a citation, and released to a sober driver.
