West Mansfield Conservation Club to host full day of Fourth of July fun

The West Mansfield Conservation Club is set to host its annual Fourth of July Celebration on Friday, July 4th at 701 South Main Street, West Mansfield—and it’s packed with activities for the whole family.

The day kicks off bright and early:

  • 7:00 a.m. – 5K registration
  • 8:30 a.m. – The Firecracker 5000 5K race begins
  • 8:30–10:30 a.m. – Breakfast served by Boy Scout Troop 70 in the clubhouse

By mid-morning, the celebration hits full stride:

  • 11:00 a.m. – Food trucks and vendors open on the lawn, including:
    • The Taco Bout
    • Where There’s Smoke
    • Freyhof’s Funnel Cakes
    • Lemonade Man
    • Charlie’s Kettle Corn & Fruit Smoothies
    • R Smokehouse
    • Boy Scouts Snow Cones
  • 11:40 a.m. – Parade lineup begins at Veterans Park
  • Noon – Parade starts off and ends at WMCC
  • 1:30 p.m. – Kids’ Fishing Clinic
  • 2:30–3:30 p.m. – Cakewalk
  • 5:00 p.m. – Cornhole Tournament
  • 6:00 p.m. – Live music in the gazebo from Keith & DJ Mathys

All day long, visitors can enjoy:

  • Free bounce house and obstacle course
  • Kids’ games and activities
  • Adult softball tournaments
  • Silent auction and raffles inside the clubhouse

Winners of raffles and contests will be announced at 9:00 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks show at dusk.

Raffle tickets for the 52-week gun drawing, 50/50 tickets, and memberships will be available for purchase in the clubhouse throughout the day.
