William Rond, 47, from Westerville, was arrested Wednesday evening following reports of erratic driving on US 33.
Logan County Sheriff Deputies identified Rond’s Black Hyundai at a rest stop on US 33, just past County Road 57.
The vehicle was observed parked in an area designated for semis and partially on the curb.
Rond exhibited signs of intoxication and admitted to taking prescription medication earlier in the day.
After refusing field sobriety tests, he was arrested and taken to the Logan County Jail.
Deputies also found several prescriptions in a bag on the front floorboard of his car.
Rond was cited for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI).
