According to Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Kevin Braig, on Tuesday a jury convicted Brandon P. Whitt on several charges.
He was convicted of a third-degree felony of tampering with evidence, a fifth-degree felony of aggravated possession of drugs, and a misdemeanor charge of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.
He was represented by defense counsel John Cunningham of Dayton, Ohio.
The State of Ohio was represented by Logan County Assistant Prosecutor, Stacia Rapp.
The charges stem from an incident on September 5, 2022, when a Washington Township police officer saw Whitt driving under a suspended license.
When the office attempted to stop Whitt, he did not stop immediately after being signaled to do so.
The jury found that while Whitt continued to drive, he discarded methamphetamine from his vehicle.
