Thursday afternoon, Bellefontaine Police were dispatched to East Sandusky Avenue in regards to an assault.
According to the victim, they and Gary Wilcoxon had gotten into an argument when Wilcoxon hit them two times with his fist.
Officers noticed blood coming from their nose, the victim stated they thought it was broken but refused transport to the hospital.
When Officers contacted Wilcoxon, he said the victim shoved him first, he shoved them back but did not hit them.
Wilcoxon was placed under arrest for domestic violence and was transported to the Logan County Jail.
