The Winter Walking Program in Logan County will begin on January 6th and run through March 13th, 2025.
This program offers a great opportunity to stay active indoors during the colder months.
Several convenient indoor locations are available across the county:
- Bellefontaine Elementary School – 1001 Ludlow Road, Bellefontaine: Walk Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
- Benjamin Logan Elementary School – 4560 County Road 26, Bellefontaine: Walk Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Indian Lake High School – 6210 State Route 235, Lewistown: Walk Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
- Riverside Local Schools – 2906 County Road 24 South, DeGraff: Walk Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Participants who walk 10 times or more will receive a complimentary t-shirt at the end of the program.

Important Notes:
- There will be no walking on Monday, January 20th, and Monday, February 17th.
- If any school is closed for any reason, the walking program will be canceled for that evening.
- Coats must be left at the check-in area, and participants should leave all bags at home or in their cars.
- Each participant must sign in upon arrival and sign out when leaving the building.
