WLS BOE wraps up 2022

The West Liberty Salem Board of Education met for its final session for 2022, on Wednesday.

At the top of the agenda was the retirement of longtime employee, Linda Harr. Click below to listen to Superintendant Kraig Hissong’s sentiments.

The BOE went on to approve the employment of the following individuals:

  • Allison Dunn- Substitute Custodian
  • Cristina Alvarez- Full-time Custodian
  • Danielle Norton- Head Varsity Softball Coach
  • Ann Vogal- Head HS Girls Track Coach
  • Regan Boyd- Paraprofessional
  • Jacob Vit- Interim Transportation Supervisor
  • Steve Godwin- Temporary Central Office Assistant

The BOE approved the following overnight trips:

  • French Club to France March 16-25, 2023
  • Senior Class trip to NYC April 18-22,2023
  • Showchoir Camp June 19-23, 2023

The BOE accepted the following donations:

The BOE will next meet for a tax budget hearing and organizational meeting on January 11 at 6 PM.
