The Bellefontaine Police Department on Friday released details about a two-vehicle crash that occurred on May 30 on South Main Street.
According to police, the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. when a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Susan Leugers, 70, of Huntsville, was attempting to turn left onto Main Street from the Tractor Supply parking lot.
Investigators say Leugers pulled into the path of a northbound 2009 Lincoln MKS driven by Connor Hall, 19, of Belle Center, resulting in a collision.
Leugers suffered serious injuries and was transported by emergency responders to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment.
Hall was evaluated at the scene by Mac-O-Chee EMS for minor injuries and did not require transport.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
Leugers was cited for failure to yield the right of way, according to the police report.
